From childhood sketches to sewing with my mother, my love for fashion has always been hands-on and heartfelt.

Roots

Early Inspirations

Twiggy and the 1960's Fashion industry thrilled me. However, prior to that, I began making clothing for my Barbie's on my Mother's vintage peddle foot sewing machine.

Creative Process

Usually starting with an idea, I search out the best piece of thrifted clothing. Then I dig through my stashes for other fabrics and trims. If I'm painting an image I use fabric paints, or I will sew on the main image. The fun starts when I can embellish with trims, feathers, beads, sequins, buttons and more.
